Hi Sugar,
The tests weren't as bad as I thought..... I am waiting on the results now. I'm in pain again on and off. I just hate this and I want it to end....... I'm miserable as sin on the bad pain days, and I can't get through much longer living with this hell pain.
I hope you can get some answers soon. Xxx

Bless your heart, keep your chin up lovely lady, you WILL heal one day, one way or another, you can't go on like this so they WILL do something for you so you can heal :-D

I had a bad pain day today, I was at my parents and ended up squatting in their bath over a washing up bowl (a make-do sitz bath!) it wasn't really the afternoon I was expecting, but fortunately because I was there, my parents could look after the girls.

Fissures TOTALLY suck and when everyone on here that I know has healed, I will be SO happy!

Sugar, sorry to hear the botox did not work and you are pain again. Good luck on the surgery. Better that its sooner rather then later. Gets this healed and move on with your life.

Thanks OMB and JBL, do you really think so? I have high hopes too and I'm trying not to read too much about it as it's putting me off a bit lol

Hi everyone,

LIS is all done, hooray! I wasn't in theatre till about 19.00 on Friday night, so it's been two full days recovery so far. I spent most of the weekend asleep, which probably did me the world of good!

So far I have had bleeding which has got less as each day passes and I have had soreness, not pain, from the wound. I haven't had ANY fissure pain yet, but that's not to say I won't.

My first few BM's have been fine, the only thing that has hurt is wiping myself, but that's because I am rubbing faeces into an open wound....bound to hurt a bit!

I am keeping the area as clean as possible. I have 4 sitz baths after a BM made with warm water and salt and then sometimes a bath too. It takes a lot of cleaning, but it's very important as my CRS said that infection is my biggest enemy at this stage.

So far so good, but lets see!

Thinking of all of you too.
