Hi tman - No answer for you but presuming you are a man I think it would be fairly common as the muscle that would extend with an erection could pull on the fissure?

Male or female, if you tend to squeeze your muscles during arousal, that could irritate the anal sphincter.
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!

I do that :( it's annoying and distracting cuz then I'm worrying about that instead of getting into the moment lol

I don't either technically, I'm in a new relationship and it's not to that point yet lol. Hopefully it won't cause any problems when the time comes haha.

That sucks! :( I'm sending prayers and positivity. For the ptsd and birth trauma too. I know my butt problems are caused and then aggravated by my anxiety. Hope you feel better soon *hugs*
