Hey,
I just had LIS a week ago. I'm posting my daily progress under the title "LIS Surgery Tuesday" on this form if you're interested in seeing how things progress. As a short recap, the first week I felt little change in the pain from the fissure during a BM but no more spasms. I have had minimal pain from the surgery site after the surgery day and have been fine on over the counter pain pills. I have had no incontenance issues and was at a slightly higher risk having had a recent vaginal birth and level 2 episiotomy.

Today I had my first almost pain free BM in months and if this continues I will say that surgery was one of the best decisions I made during this whole ordeal.
