Hair removal?

Postby Mae » 15 Jun 2015, 11:28

Okay I know shaving/waxing "back there" is the last thing on any of our minds when we've got a fissure, but I'm more referring to after it's healed, is there a safe hair removal method that won't lead to another fissure or irritate a tag?
● Fissure first appeared Nov '14
● Cycle of healing and reappearing
● Using conservative methods (metamucil, managing anxiety)

I was only jus thinking about this today!! I'm a guy and got a very hairy bum, I don't think it does me any favours and causes me to sweat. I'm planning to try a yoga-esque self wax with veet ready strips. I will keep you posted
Suffering since June 2013

Methods tried:
GTN cream - migraines!
Manuka Honey / Coconut oil / Aloe
tag excision X 2, botox x 3
Dilatiazem
dilatation 2 X daily + Retin-C Vitamin Scar Treatment Oil 2 X daily - best thing ever.
Now pain free 2/7/21

I never ever shave in 'that' area. I am fair skinned and don't need more pain and itching :affraid:
