pain after LIS

pain after LIS

Hi for everyones Iam considering to do the surgey after 2 years of fissure Inever was in big pain during BM or after just mild stinging and some bleeding every few months I think the fissure never was complettly healed and I cant live like that anymore I am 36 male with two childrens and I just thinking about BM it will be hard stool or soft Itried creams sitz baths self dilations my biggest cons about LIS is pain after surgery what kind of pain it will be how long after surgery pain will stay any opinions of the people after LIS??

Hi pol87,

I had LIS surgery back in 2012 and the pain post-surgery was milder than it was before surgery. You should expect a possible few days of mild soreness straight after surgery which can be sorted with a few pain killers. After that it just felt like very lightly pressing on a bruise.

Naturally only go for LIS if it is recommended by a specialist
