I need to tell this to someone, but it is so embarrassing that there is no one I can tell. But, I figure that the people on this site will understand.

I had to go to the bathroom and I was only about 20 feet away, but then it began to hurt so badly and I felt like the fissure was ripping (and it's been a little better lately), so I let it go and went in my underpants. I cleaned up thoroughly and, even though no one knows, I feel highly ashamed. I just couldn't go back to the horrible agony of when the fissure was at its worst.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Well, maybe it was 30 feet. In any event, it was like a knife in me.

Daisy....do what you gotta do to make yourself feel better....it is simply self preservation and we have all been there! No need to be embarrassed - be proud of yourself that you figured out a way to better take care of yourself... I for one (and am sure that all on this chat board would agree) applaud you!
