Can you recover from anal fissure if you keep getting hard stools on and off a couple of months after the surgery?

Hard stools can always cause fissures. LIS will not prevent them but help them heal faster when they happen. How often do you have hard stools? Are you eating lots of fibre, drinking lots of water and taking a stool softener?
