Hurts to even wipe

Postby PoisonGal » 02 Oct 2015, 06:29

Hello I'm new to this forum. I've been suffering for years with anal fissures. However none have been as bad as the one I got 2 days ago. It hurts so bad to even wipe. Has anyone experienced this? I can see this will turn into a viscous cycle every time I go to the bathroom. Is like to hear about all your experiences with your fissures

don't wipe, that will just aggravate it. instead pat firmly with wet tissue until completely clean and let the butt air dry

:wel: to the Forum and sorry that you're in pain.

The reason you are experiencing so much pain is that the involuntary internal spincter is spasming. You need to get blood to the area by soaking in a Sitz Bath after a BM, seeing a CRS/your GP for some Diltiazem or Nifedipine cream, before it becomes worse. Never wipe; use something like Cottonelle toilet paper and dab. I also use sterile gauze pads that I wet to 'finish'. You can see my experiences with an AF below. Took a lot of time, no surgery, and dedication, so to speak. :sunny:

Once again, welcome to the Forum. :smilyhug:
