Bread of Life.....Literally

Postby Deleted User 4711 » 20 Nov 2015, 22:06

Hi all

Some of you are familiar with my past story here, most of you
though not-so-much.

So in a nutshell again here's my story. I was a AF sufferer for
many years. Went through all the trials of pain and burning
and passing "shreded glass" and walking around feeling like
a match is lit in my but.

Yes, the shooting spasms, the blood in the stools, the sleepless
nights of a burning but, the re-tears from a not so successful
bm campaign, or should I say camPAIN. I could go on and on.

But I finally found the real culprit of my harder than rock stools
that just kept bringing my AF's roaring back. Yes it was only
when I literally avoided all types of bread like the plague that
my AF's finally stop coming back.

I loved bread, I'm talking the healthy whole-wheat type. But
as mentioned in my series here in diet/tips, bread for many
is hard to digest. That was especially true for me as I got older.

Even the mighty olive oil could not stop my stools from becoming
too hard after eating several slices of whole wheat bread dipped
in this olive oil.

Yes, I tried the zwieback (dried bread) with good results. I dried
my whole wheat bread and did not experience the hard stools
as before. But I find dried bread much less palatable.

I love soup and sandwich, but dipping dried hard bread in soup
will never come close to dipping soft bread with peanut butter
spread on it, mmmmm mmmm!!

So I said there has to be something I can substitute for bread
and dip it in my piping hot tomato soup. I Googled bread sub
stitutes and the sparse results really weren't to my liking...... RICECAKES really.

YUK

That's when I started perusing the Wholefood store shelves
and remembered hearing about this type of bread that has a
scripture written right on it. Out of all my bread eating in the
past, I for whatever reason never tried this one.

It is also called Sprouted bread and because its hard for me to
explain, I'll just insert this definition:

" The sprouted grain process involves soaking the grains in water
until they begin to grow a sprout. The growing environment is highly
controlled, including the water temp, air temp, and the time grains are
allowed to sprout. Once the grains sprout, they are drained and mixed
together to be ground up and used. Before the sprouted grain is used,
it is a living food. Enzymes are released during the sprouting process,
which break down proteins and carbohydrates. This process helps
make sprouted grain food low glycemic and easier to digest. "

So, when I read this I said, let me give this type of bread a try.
Now there are different types of sprouted bread, so I bought the one
with a lot of flaxseed in it. It literally has whole flaxseed infused
throughout it.

Perfect stools were the result !!!

So to close this longish prose I'll just end with this. I have been fissure free for
well over 4 years now. I continue to take in olive oil with all my meals as it gives
me excellent stools along with a host of other benefits.

Again I am hectically busy nowadays and will only be here a few days.
Good to see some of the "old timers" still here.....

God bless alll of you..........with a healthier "behind" :D
