Hello, I have a chronic fissure and for q couple of weeks I have had no issues with bleeding or pain except today. Today I felt the twinge and when I was cleaning noticed blood . I am devastated, I feel like I was making progress and finally after a year feeling better but now this can anyone please offer advise??

It is quite common to bleed. It happens to me from time to time. Could be hemorrhoids or just a small cut as sometimes happens. Don't worry unless you are in terrible pain. Good luck.

Thank you so much for the reassurance! The discomfort passed quickly after, hoping it wasn't a setback how can you tell if your fissure is healing? Will it ever completely heal?

Yesterday after weeks I had more fresh blood and when using nitro could feel a sting which I'm assuming is same/another fissure??? No pain just slight discomfort. Today I had no blood but again sting and slight discomfort.... When will this end
