Yes I have stitches did wonder myself if it could be that....I'm worried maybe I tore stitches or something on Friday night.

I had stitches in my hand and when the wound was healing it was itchy and tugged when I used my hand before I got the stitches removed. Maybe it's actually a good sign! Have you had bleeding?

I had a bit of bleeding for a few days after the op, but my fissure has never bled apart from the first two weeks I had it, when it bled loads.

Well if the stitches were torn, and any real damage was caused, maybe there would be bleeding? And that's funny - mine never bled until it re-tore...it's strange that these damn things can be so different for everybody.

Trying to stay calm, but my stomach is making awful noises and now I'm panicking that I'm going to be on the toilet loads tonight and in constant spasms. Think I will have some more loperamide

Hi IT,
I'm not too bad thanx didn't go to the toilet so managed 6 hours sleep with no painkillers.
Yesterday was ok actually pain was mainly a 3 with that strange pulling feeling. Hoping today goes ok as I'm back at work and am sure I will need the toilet at some point as I haven't been since the awful experience on Friday. Had a scone and some salmon yesterday. I'm still having to force any wind out though as I did before the LIS so I really am wondering if it has worked as surely I shouldn't have to be forcing it out now.
Well fingers crossed for a good day with a friendly BM lol
