Well I had to come home from work early as the pain was just too much if I'm laid down it's only around a 3/4 but as soon as I walk or sit for any length it's straight up to a 7. Thankfully not been to the toilet yet today and I have managed to not eat anything so that's good. Just laid with some silver on cotton wool up there and will be putting some medi honey on after. Fingers crossed I get some sleep tonight and can work tomorrow or I can imagine my manager will not be pleased

See this is why I choose not to eat haven't gone to the toilet in 36 hours pain level is now a 2....why in the world would I choose to eat knowing full well that it's going to send me straight to an 8 at least. Managed to go to work quite happily with no crying thankfully. No appointments at the docs today so will try again in the morning.
Unfortunately I had to have a sausage for lunch as my son made some and doesn't understand my fear lol. But that is me for today....surely a sausage can't cause too much hassle in the colon....can it?!?

MPB. Well if thats what it takes to get you thru then at least you found something that helps. I would be concerned about malnutrition even though vitamins and water will help but the body has to have nutrients. Maybe you can try eating very small portions and see if that helps.soup whole grain bread fruit veggies in small quantities.

Jim, I have come to the conclusion that to carry on eating normally would be like torturing myself...who would willing put themselves in that much pain?
I'm already malnourished lol and am having vitB complex shots at the docs every Friday...this is because I have spent 18 months being unable to eat fruit or veg as they make me go to the toilet 7-15 times afterwards....I didn't mind that effect until I got this god awful fissure lol.
How are you doing now?

MPB. I am doing better BM no longer hurt the way they did. Able to sit longer. Started noticing symptoms letting up around day 28 and its now day 32. I believe the worst is behind me . Back to having reg BM in morning and have had one 8 days in a row. Still some minor discomfort but on a scale of 1 to 10 I would say I am at a 7 with 10 being totally symptom free. I hope this will continue to improve

Hi Katie I'm doing ok as long as I don't eat....every time I go for a BM my pain level shoots up to a 7 and continues to rise sometimes up to a 10. So I have decided to not eat for a while lol.
How are you doing

No I have never had a fistula but they seem pretty simple to sort out from what a few of my friends who have crohns have said. Yes I remember when I was in pain for a few hours after a BM...I know look back on those days and wish I could go back as the pain now last anywhere from 12 to 24 hours after a BM.
I know I would heal so much better with consistent BMs but how I'm meant to do that with crohns and IBS I have no idea and nothing the docs give me work lol.
As for talking about butts my husband just shouts at me know when I mention it as to quote him "I'm sick of your ass" so now I don't even bother lol.
