So nice to see that you still have a good sense of humour. That post made me laugh out loud.

No, I'm one of the few success stories who stayed around afterward to answer questions and help out when I can. It's been almost two years now and I'm a very happy camper. My only after-effect is that I now have five skin tags around my anus, rather than the single one that I went into surgery with. But believe me, after suffering for years on end, with the excruciating pain, the tags are nothing!

CHACHACHA do you still get that burig sensation? Mine seems to be beforeI pass gas like its trapped then once Ipass wind. I get relief. My crsc says its scar tissue from the internal hemorrhoids that were banded along with LIS 5weeks ago

I had hemmies banded about 10 years ago, but I don't think that they have made a difference to anything now. I have had burning with diarrhea, but have only had diarrhea about 3 times since the surgery. I believe that even healthy people get burning with diarrhea, because it's very acidic. Hopefully, things will improve for you soon (you only had the procedures 5 weeks ago, and full healing usually takes much longer than that).

CHACHACHA: I have heard from others that healing can take quite some time. It is better since surgery and I can sit longer so I guess I should be glad its at least not getting worse lol

CHACHACHA I guess its true when they say patients is a virtue. I had a chicken sandwhich and fries from wendys and 2 burgers and fries from McDonalds yesterday and didnt seem to make much difference. Its at its worse when gas seems to be trapped then subsides The nifedipine ointment helpsandI can feelthe sore tissue when applying it.

Well Had a BM this morning and all soft but I notice there was a little white slim on the stool. Not sure if it was the ointment or mucus or pus. No fever or blood so curious as to what it may be. 36 days post surgery so I think its the ointment any one experience this?
