Homeopathic Approach to Anal Abscess Fistula

Postby mikeinflorida » 15 Jan 2017, 22:44

I'm so happy this forum exists. I just found out that I have a superficial anal abscess fistula (11pm position). After reading about possible incontinence, recurring need for surgery and longgggggg healing times (along with scar tissue issues) and more awful things I decided to try the homeopathic route.

This YouTube video inspired me... https://youtu.be/6zpLTbriEmM

Has anyone else here tried using Manuka honey, Turmeric, apple cider vinegar, sitz baths, oil of oregano and making big changes in diet? That's my goal for the next couple of months. Unlike many others here, I don't have pain or itching it's just annoying right now but manageable.

I really look forward to your thoughtful comments!

Hi Mike,

Hope this works out for you. Would be interested to know how you fair. I've done some research on Manuka honey and it does seem to have some medical backing in terms of its antibacterial properties and its abilities to heal wounds. I'm retrying it with my fissure again. Fingers crossed!

Good Luck, LemonMan
