:thankyou: Yes, it seems as though almost all rectal conditions have the same symptoms. Mine could not be seen until i had anoscopy, it was internal. Are you able to work and do your everyday routine now? He did say that the veins higher up can inflat, inflame and press and pull against the levator muscles, he recommended this bioflavanoid that is all natural and used for vein and anal health, although it has not been tested for levator, he has been using it himself and for his patients and they have had great success with it, some have not been back for their Levator Physical Therapy, since using this, also he said simple Aleve 2 times a day and cramp bark all natural are very effective and powerful, and possibly GABA. Our bodies are able to heal themselves miraculously. He also suggested still using the nitro. have you continued with that? Additionally hemp oil salve with essential oils, I know we want a quick fix but sometimes we have to work from the inside out. I have a physio appt next week with a pelvic floor specialist. Also considering accupuncture have you tried? PS the specialist is in Beverly Hills CA he is highly recommended.

I had a colonoscopy and no fissure was found even though the gastric made sure to check; I stopped anything down there since I felt everything (nitro, Vaseline) was started to irritate me. They suggested pelvic floor exercises and warm baths to relax the muscles.

I would say the best person to deal with these issues would be pelvic floor specialist, trust me I saw several gastro/ colon doctors that had no idea how to help me. Which makes me so mad because they should automatically refer you to pelvic floor physical therapy if there is any pain in the pelvic area. It really takes a person to do a lot of leg work on their own.

Yes thank you, I have an appointment next week, it just feels so sore and this deep ache and knot feeling, I still can't sit down, I am wondering how I will be able to tolerate therapy on top of everything else?

For women, therapy can be done vaginally.

Hi Alyssa,
One of my activities these days is searching for people with same symptoms as mine and see how they ended up with their issues which is a legitimately curious feeling an at the same time an act of despair as I'm running out of solutions and it's hard or impossible to get a hold of people who have been here long time ago. With that said Alyssa, please let me know how you're doing these days if you're still connected.
