Colorectal Surgeons in the UK

Postby Bum_UK » 25 Apr 2017, 05:19

I'm just back home after seeing a GP. I'm Nottinghamshire based and he recommended Mr Manon who works privately (I asked for a Bupa referral) and at Kingsmill Hospital which has been in special measures for many years without improving. I had a look at the Bupa consultant listings and Mr (Professor) Scholefield works privately and at QMC which is more reassuring. On the off chance that anyone is familiar with either of them, what was your experience with them?

I've seen that people here have recommended Mr Brown in Sheffield. He would be an option but is around an hour away whereas the other two are 20 minutes away. I don't mind travelling for a good CRS though.
