Squatting (not on the potty)

Postby Mimime » 21 May 2017, 21:07

So I am the squatting queen. I am not going to injure my back again, and I'm very well trained at the squatting technique but I'm concerned about the bum cheek spreading that might make a healing fissure pop apart. Should I tell my family they need to do all the heavy lifting from here out?

I lifted weights including heavy 400+lb back squats during my fissure and a few weeks after surgery without issue.

My crs told me that was fine.

My CRS told me to go right ahead. I am a little worried since I may have some pelvic floor issues - so I am working with a pelvic floor physio to get me back at it safetly. That's always an option!

OK that's good to know. My pelvic floor is over developed if anything, so I'll be able to continue with the heay lifting around here.

Thank you!
