I'm attending the hospital at 1pm. Stop eating at 10am and only water until 2.30pm. As it's private and he is already doing two others tomorrow he had a spare slot (pardon the pun) so he added me to the list. It is costing £1620.00 if anyone is interested in the cost. I would sell my soul if it required it due to this pain.

That's brilliant! It's expensive but not insanely expensive (again it depends on financial situation etc). I have Bupa and they will pay for my Botox etc. I know what you mean about selling your soul as the relentless fissure pain is worse than anything I've ever experienced.

I look forward to your update when you've had the LIS done.

Thank you. I'll let you know how it goes. Yours isn't too far away is it.

I don't suppose there is any point in asking him to be gentle with me is there?

All went well, now 4 days post op and as most on here have said it's a huge relief. No spasms, not much pain after bm mostly stinging which is a breeze compared to pre-LIS. I had a few tears said the surgeon, a fistula and a skin tag removed. So a fair bit of work. I've got bruising there but it isn't as swollen as I thought it would be. I've had 4 stitches which are a bit annoying sometimes when they don't lay flat.

Thank you for the update! It sounds like you're doing great considering it's only been four days since the surgery.
