Surgery Wound Healing Slowly?

Postby AJStyles » 22 Jun 2017, 12:58

I am 11 Weeks Post LIS Now (its my second LIS first one didnt work) Right now the pain is much better than before but there is still some pain after BM. Doctor said the FISSURE is GONE. But the Open Wound from the Surgery is still not closed. How long should that take? He said its unusual that this takes so long. Anyone same experience? I mean open wounds should heal easier than a fissure?

I'm 4 weeks post op, and my incision wound has healed from what I can see from the outside. I'm not sure about the inside though, i still have the tingly and itchy feeling during BMs so not sure if that's from the incision or AF. I have my first post op next week so I'll know soon
