Sore Throat Spray?

Has anyone every used sore throat spray on their bum hole? The spray is to be used on throats (a mucous membrane), so I'm wondering if it's safe to try it on one's hole (which is also a mucous membrane)?
Fissure since about 2007
Fissure diagnosed in 2011
Diltiazem for two years - didn't work well

Hmmmm. I have not but I'm in so much distress I am about to apply some RUB A535 down there.
What is it about the throat spray that makes you think it might help?

Because it numbs the area and that body tissue (mucous membrane) is the same as the anus. I just wouldn't want to do something that could damage that delicate skin.
