Botox questions

Postby Sadbum » 21 Feb 2018, 18:40

Hi! Who has done Botox?
I have a few questions:

1. I’m experiencing some slight pain throughout the day pain during BM is usually just at beginning somedays I feel nothing.

2. Will the retractor cause more tear?

3. I don’t get spasms could I potentially get them from this procedure?

Susie, what kind of painkillers did they prescribe after the surgery. Did the skin tag wound heal fast. Any special care right after?

I had Botox 3 weeks ago. I still have the same terrible spasms and it made my fissures much worse. I am very discouraged. If you’re not having spasms, I would think your fissure would heal on its own. It’s the spams that prevent healing. I’m on 14 months and counting of spasms.... It’s been the worst experience of my life.... Feel better.

I had Botox and it was great in the sense that it stopped my spasms and gave me months free of pain. But by the time I actually got Botox my fissure was down to the muscle and quite long, so Botox didn’t heal it.
Yes there is a possibility of a retear or even a new fissure, missy experienced this but the new fissure healed within a week
If you aren’t getting spasms now then I see no reason why you should start getting them from Botox

I did go on to get LIS yes but Botox allowed my fissure to start to heal which meant the cut could nearly be the full length of the fissure

Did you have any incontinence from Botox? Urgency? Farting?
