What desolves scar tissue?

Postby missy moo » 05 Mar 2018, 22:54

Hey guys as some of you know I had Botox 3 weeks ago but since the surgeon didn't tidy up the fissure edges I'm worried about it not healing well or returning once healed the edges are rough I can feel it with my finger I've had this fissure on an off for 4.5 years but the surgeon said the scar is soft an should heal I was disappointed that the fissure edges weren't cleaned up so I'm looking for something that will desolve the rough fissure edges that the surgeon didn't tidy up.

Hi Missy, I have heard of castor oil and also manuka honey. I used to make suppositories of coconut oil, manuka and castor oil. When I went to the last check up the doc said I didn't have much scar tissue, as when I went a few weeks prior he said there was.

If that doesn't help and the fissure doesnt heal, you can just go for fissurectomy only to catherize the wound. This is a very common practice for any kind of wound and not only if there is scar fissure. It promotes new cells growth. If you go for a second botox definitely insist on that, if no spasms and no botox needed but the fissure is not healing. Just to a quick one with local anestjesia. It will take 5 minutes.

Is that where the burn the fissure? Or something else? I'll try to dissolve the scar tissue first with something natural plus this round of Botox then go from there but if I need Botox again I will most certainly be telling them that the fissure edges are rough and it needs tidying up, they should already know this but since they only gave me Botox the first time an said the scar is soft then maybe they don't know it's not just about the scar being soft it's about the rough edges don't fuse will. Thanks for your help x
