7 weeks post lis

Postby Katiekatie116 » 24 May 2018, 11:32

Hello all. I had lis and sentinel piles removed 7 weeks ago. The fissure pain is gone and I was pain free for a while but a couple days ago I have this aching feeling and feeling of pressure now. It’s sore and I’m noticing leakage again.

What precautions should I be taking? I’ve upped my fiber and water intake again and have been doing sitz baths after bms.

I have anusol and prep h cream but haven’t used either yet because I don’t want to aggregate anything.

Thank you

I would definitely check back with your doctor to make sure there's no infection. Leakage sounds suggestive of infection and if that's what it is then it's best to get treated asap. Let us know how things go. Take care!
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy
