Surgery scheduled

Postby Bloodybum » 28 May 2019, 12:20

I just got off the phone, LIS scheduled for June 20th. Three weeks, then maybe some real healing can begin. I will update this post afterwards to give updates on how it goes.

I am scheduled to have surgery tomorrow for my diagnosed 1-fissure and 2-fistula's. I was finally able to get in to a Specialist last Friday (after I told the VA to take a walk). It sure didn't take him long to get this operation scheduled up which makes me think it could be more serious than even I think it is. The plan is to biopsy the fissure as the doc felt it had grown. Then, he is suppose to do what ever they do with fistula's. All I know is that I have been sidelined for a few weeks with gut wrenching abdominal cramps and constant drainage. This drainage and cramps are what concern me. I have had to go the diapers because when there is something to drain with 2 fistula's it has conduits to drain through with zero bodily warnings. Have any of you had to deal with these cramps and what do you do to get past them. All I know is that Benefiber isn't getting it done so I have fell back to not eating. Ideas??
