Have a colonoscopy in two weeks, have them every three years, so will see what happens then. The lumps are gone, but had painless bleeding on a couple BMs, probably an internal hemm, but forward! So far, fissure has been fine. Has been very stressful caring for my 90 year old mom past several weeks and have noticed stress usually makes all this worse. Hope all is well as can be and even better!!

Good luck on the colonoscopy I’m sure you will be fine. Be nice to be reassured though. Glad the bumps have cleared up now.
I’m sure looking after your mom has made things a lot more stressful for you. Can you get any others to share the caring with you or are you her full time carer?
Make sure you take out time for yourself where you can.

Thanks Suemac. I'm the only one for caregiving, no other surviving siblings, but my wife is a gem, we're in it together, doing best we can. Forward we go! ;-)

Glad you have good support from your wife that makes a massive difference. Keep me posted on your results from your investigation.

Of course, I'm worried the colonoscopy will re-open the fissure, but it has been well over 8 months since any sign of it, so hoping it is healed enough. I go every three years now and was initially scheduled for last Fall but put it off until early March now. I remember reading somewhere on the forum that it can happen, but then read others where everything was fine with the colonoscopy and a healed fissure. Will let you know, and hope you are well, too.

I think it is low risk and generally that doesn’t happen. I’d mention how worried you are though when you go. Keep us posted. I am generally well. I have my sorer days but my pain is lower level than it was two years ago so I hope in time I have no soreness.

Thanks, I'll mention it, but as you wrote, it should be fine. I hope you continue to have more good days until they're all good days!!
