Thanks suffering2long i know its just hard especially when im sleep deprived and trying to sit up straight to breastfeed but can't because of my butt. I spoke to my doctor a few days ago im just waiting on a waiting list to speak to a counsellor so I've just got to wait. I cant get anything surgery wise until my blood level is back to normal because my blood pressure gets low.

Congratulations Missy on your baby, I'm glad he arrived safely. But poor you - how awful. You must be utterly exhausted. A counsellor is a very good idea I hope that happens soon. I'm sure you need to recover from the birth before any procedures. Keep us posted on how you are.

Hey suemac I'm sad to say im back dam fissure. Looks like i got 1 month of freedom but now its all back worse then its been in a long time i even sore blood which i haven't seen in like 2 years so maybe i extended the current fissure or tore a new 1 not sure. It sucks because i can't control everything! I took 2 softners yesterday and some vit c as normal but this morning i had a quick urge so there was no mucking around the exit was fast even through id consider the bm a normal bm formed but not hard it came out so fast that it hurt an i felt it retear. In cases like this there is no way we csn stop it or prevent it from happening. Im sad because its 6am i had just woken to baby fed him then went to the toilet now im laying next to his bed in pain feeling sorry for myself. Im getting really sick of this I've been through nuch bigger medical stuff i should just get lis at this point

Oh missy that’s not good news. Have you spoken to your gp and /or health visitor? I can’t comment on lis as not had it done but maybe it is something to consider. I’m just a bit concerned since you only had the baby such a short time ago. I expect you are a little run down which isn’t helping that fissure situation.
As you say you’ve tried really hard to do the right thing.
Have you had any medical opinion since having the baby?

Hi Missy - Nothing, I've had it looked at and specialist said theres a old fissure scar there and that is probably why you get discomfort. It's healed fine apparently. I am ok for a while but then I get soreness. But not reopening just feeling soreness and pain after a BM. It's been going on for 7 years on and off like that.
How are things now?

I've had typical fissure pain an blood everyday now for the last 2 wks. Im breastfeeding so not sure if its that thats effecting my hormones which is effecting the ability to heal i really dont know. My bms haven't changed. I'm back on the waiting list again to ask about advancement flap surgery. I mite just pay and have a consultation with a private clinic i would need to travel though

Oh poor you. I do think breastfeeding takes it out of you I fed my three and I was often pretty run down during that time.
Travelling is tricky with a newborn in tow. Have you spoken to anyone in medical profession about it and had their view on next steps?
