Im using magnesium citrate and vit c high dose powder vit c 1 dose back to back with my powder magnesium citrate magnesium is 1tsp mixed in a glass of water and the vit c is 1 tsp mixed in how ever much water you want i use 1/4 cup i was doing this before bed but was getting hard tips so now o take it about 3pm an since doing that I'll sometimes have an afternoon bm if theres one ready to go and both evening and morning bms have been soft even when i dont do and evening bm the morning bm is still soft. I didn't know the by simply changing when i took it would make such s huge difference. Are your hard tips tearing the fissure is there pain or bleeding or is the Vaseline holding it together?

Also i should mention I'm mixing 1 tbsp of coconut oil into my morning coffee i do believe this helps and it makes the coffee taste even better. I'm ofd gluten an daily too i avoid too much sweet potato it slows my system. I avoid nuts an seeds for now till i get this fissure sorted i just think hard in hard out. no processed. Nothing high fiber an not to much fiber in one sitting or in 1 day either. I avoid minced beef meat or processed meat. So im basically living off

Homemade coconut flour gluten free dairy free 70% dark chocolate chunk banana cupcakes. As my snack they have coconut oil in them and ciconut flour. So l eat 2-3 a day because i love them. Also eating very simple.
Fruit
Veg
Any meat but will mostly chicken an fish
Seafood if i get it fresh.
I avoid dried fruit because of high suger. My sweetner is pure maple syrup honey or stieva not sure if thats spelt right. I dont live by this super strictly otherwise I'll hate life an probably stop doing it so once/twice a week i allow bad stuff. Last night was home made minced beef, bacon, mushroom, cheese pie. Was delicious. So minced meat, pastry, cheese and bacon are on my don't eat list but you gotta live a little. I only had a normal serving didnt go over board. Anyone want my cupcake recipe just ask :D

 i feel like a dam chemist. How crazy do we have to be avout though. I believe diet is most of the problem. I wish it wasn't I'm sick of feeling bad/scared after eating something that slows the system or is bad for the gut like processed foods. I drank alcohol last night normally a huge no no but to my surprise no issues with todays bm.

How's everyone else doing? Day 6 for me Vaseline magnesium an vit c seem to be working.

Day 11.
Today an yesterday had a bit of discomfort during bm things feeling tight so maybe a little fissure or something because applying the Vaseline i felt a little scratchyness discomfort. But I'm still moving forward. The best thing i ever did on this journey was stop thinking i was healing the issue completely and started thinking i have good days an bad days move on. Now i don't get depressed on bad days because we all know how disheartening 10 days of pain free then pain on day 11 feels it hurts more mentally then physically.

Missy, I'm sorry to hear of your discomfort. Try to stay positive. Hopefully this is just a temporary setback.

Don't be disheartened, missy moo, I experienced occasional scratchyness too, hopefully you are healing. Are you seeing any blood?

Thanks MyBumHasHurt and Bottomgun.
No blood just irritation scratchyness. But i know something must be a miss when the muscle closes off normally means theres an injury its trying to protect this is why fissures are had to heal the tightness causes low blood flow its such a cycle.

Day 14 using Vaseline
Been getting discomfort/irritation last 3 days today increased pain and blood so Vaseline isn't a magic cream. I believe for people who whos issue is a non healing fissure Vaseline may work or if your fissure is only days wks old but once your fissure is years old or heals then retears its no longer a skin issue its a muscle issue.
