I think I should have put my previous comment on this thread:
I tried my Metamucil-type generic fiber supplement yesterday and plan to use it again today.

I hope your feeling better! I hate it when I aggravate my fissure! Today was good for me - barely any pinching - things are going back to normal.

I don't know if my new Metamucil-like supplement is going to work for me or not. It seems to be giving me stomach cramps.
