Im sorry to hear this...many say that Botox was the road to healing....
so when your Doctors perform Botox - they do not talk about time frames- like it can take years but eventually get better...on reddit some members share their proctologists reassurance that it will take years in some cases.....

lately I found calming to just chat about it with whats up Meta AI.....

I have a preferred colorectal surgeon. They are happy to repeat the botox procedures, but have made it clear they don't expect it to be a cure at this point.
She was very nice about it, but referred me to the pain specialist and pelvic floor physio stating there's not much else she can do medically/diagnostically. Which is difficult to hear since I still have the same pain, but I understand her point.
She can't see any physiological issue - There's no fissure. There's noting more to treat, but she's happy to repeat the botox since there's really no risk and it does provide some relief. But it's short-term, expensive...not ideal.

There's been no permanent change, so I think she's being realistic, this isn't just a matter of time.

As I said originally, I've tried pain specialist, physio, CRS - There's not really much left to do, so it's just something I live with. Sometimes it doesn't seem worth it and there's probably a point as I get older it'll be too much.
Appreciate the posts on here - There's no one IRL that gets it.

Fred55 wrote:That sucks! I had a manometry test and even that was normal! But I don't buy that all this pain I'm experiencing isn't caused by anything! The thing is we have a broke health care system that tests, appointments and second oponion specialists takes for ages and at some point one might lose the drive and learn to suck it up! But it ain't good at all! There was a time I was suspecting my prostate might be the culprit! Ive thought about any possible cause which has took a significant mental toll on me especially with all the horrible things you read on the internet! I'm tired of self diagnosis!

hello Fred, Could you pls update if there is any improvement in your pains, discomfort and anal pressure? thanks for any input
