I was only told by Dr. Million that one thin vain is coming directly to my skin tag (ex fissure) but that it was small and not inflamed or enlarged or anything , but than she said " we shell see..." hmmm... She once mentioned when I first saw her that I have one internal hemorrhoid that was small. I was surprised since I never had any symptoms and she said that symptoms come when they are very big or inflamed and that all people have them , but
most have no problems with them and don't even know that they exist in their colon. Well, I am perfect example of it. That hemmie though is not connected to this place .
I am wondering if the CRS who did my LIS really did hit my vain and made it now susceptible to becoming inflamed or enlarged just outside where it was damaged , and not giving any classical symptoms inside where thin vain can be seen :pale: . I put some Anusol ( I think that was the name - butt cream with cortisone) on it today and it shrunk which is indicator that there WAS some inflammation present

I guess I will go to CRS if this continues to happen or if it does not get completely resolved in couple of days

I know my skin tag acted like a hemorrhoid. It would swell up with straining, too much activity etc. and in the morning right when I got up it was almost imperceptible, but as soon as I hit the john, it would come out to say good morning.

My CRS's kept calling it a skintag but I think it is semantics. It is fed by a vein the same way a hemorrhoid is and they can both hurt a lot.

My CRS told me that straining to lift something is the major way someone gets an external thrombosed hemorrhoid. It is hard to say what you have. Even if I looked I probably couldn't tell because it looked pretty much the same to me at times. But it is crazy to have to baby that area so much that you have to be afraid of irritating it by just living your life. Hope it gets better soon.

I can't help but wonder if this mystery "thing" really has something to do with your internal hemmie that does not cause you any issues. I know everyones says that you should not get them removed if they don't bother you, but what IF it is the cause. RBL is so simple and involves no pain. The only complaint I had was my mucus issue, which is now better . When my CRS told me he wanted to remove them, I just went along with him because - hey what did I have to loose at that point??? Then, my sking tage mysteriously went away and has not been seen since.
I don't know about all this - I am just giving you something to think about. Sorry to keep bringing it up, but I am always wondering and thinking about your "tag".
The heavy lifting thing is scary. I had to help lift a 300 pound patient in the hospital today and I thought about you and how you lifted the couch and your butt acted up. So, guess what I did? I faked it!! I pretended to help lift her, but I let all the buff male nurses lift her instead. I know, I know - I totally feel like a bad nurse, but I have been feeling so good and I am afraid of going into butt relapse!!!

Haha Gareth - I like your vote - LOL- you know what - maybe we all should just go with a flow and pamper ourselves to death We have legitimate excuse to have butlers and be on special diets, have Botox covered by insurance, just lay around and eat fruits and other healthy stuff - I wonder why we all find it as a punishment - maybe we all should look at it as an advantage and enjoy it !!!
Thanks Jen for pointing out what can be solution - it is just that my one internal hemmie is so small that I wonder if it would be possible to even catch with a "bender" and it is not connected with this place of skin tag - it does not feed it :roll: with blood . But , I will definitely ask about that next time I have exam !!! I am glad you found the way to escape the heavy lifting ; ) - you are not a bad nurse , silly, how are you going to take care of others if you do not take care of yourself : ) !!! I am soooo glad that my post saved you from possible setback - now it has some meaning : ))) !!!
Lecia - our uber expert of hemmies -thank you so much for the input -I will now do some Googleing about "semantics". It is at the same time comforting and scary that they both look same and act same - oh boy - but my "skin tag" behaves ABSOLUTELY same as you described it !!! And, you know LOL, just yesterday I thought how I wish there is a way we here
can compare our butts somehow and that we would do better job to each other than CRSs do - weird - I know :oops: :oops:- well that is what butt pain can do to a person LOL , what can we do !!!??? Thanks Buddy
