I am not surprised at all, Tabby. Why shouldn't your fissure be healed by now? No reason for it not to.
But it is still SPECTACULAR to be rid of that thing, isn't it! I wish we could all take you out for a brew and a a little nightlife to celebrate!

That is so awesome! I knew you would get good news and I bet with time what is left will fade away. Especially with your new lifestyle-you are going places, girl!! I might not have given a kiss but a hug would have been okay! And then see what happens (not!)
