does walking help

Postby kmax1940 » 24 May 2010, 07:42

I have heard that walking helps increase blood flow down there and healing...
I asked the DR. and he said he did not really think it did much...
Actually he just was like
..ummm....yeah... i dont know... ummm...Maybe.
Does anyone know the answer to this?
If walking will help I will it heal I will walk every day! :)

I don't know that answer to your question, but I know that I walk alot at work and that hasn't seemed to help me, but maybe that's just me.

Not sure how long I have had this problem because I do know that for several years I have had some occasional spotting of blood after a BM, but nothing that concerned me because I never had pain. I just always thought it was from taking too many aspirin/pain relievers.
This past March is when I had extreme pain and alot of blood with a BM...along with spasms that were so bad that I could not stand or walk. The spasms lasted for several weeks. The only time I had bleeding was with the original tear in March and it didn't happen again until I had a case of diarrhea and then I bled for about 3 days, which terrified me. Now everytime I have a BM I am scared to death to look and see if there is blood. Not that the sight of blood scares me, but blood coming out of my butt scares the crap out of me.

If you can walk comfortably - than definitely walk. Walking has multiple benefits for a body and mind in general and it was proven that people who walk (no matter what condition they have) heal much faster. NOT fast walking - nice, even and rhythmic movements with coordinated relaxed hand movement - just normal stride.
Fire - there is a difference between walking at work and walking in the park ; )) ! have completely different effect on a body.

Another good thing about walking in one's neighborhood--you can check out what's new in neighbors' yards and what they are doing! Image
