whats worse lis or hemmie surgery????

I have a friend that needa surgery for hemmies and she is trying to compare my pain to what her surgery would be like. Does anyone know whats worse????

Never had hemorrhoid surgery personally but I think the consensus is that the recovery is much worse than LIS. Makes sense to me since they're doing more and higher up in the rectum than during LIS.

I believe that hemmie surgery is one of the worst, generally though, any surgery of the rectum is painful IMO
