Gareth, that pizza sounds tasty. I'll have to try that.
Lecia, the whey & flax seed oil tips sound good. maybe i'll make a shake with whey...or put some flax seed oil on my pasta/veggies tonight.

EAT NUTS!!! and pumkin seeds.

Just chew them well or use nut butter. Nut butter is eapecially good on whole grain crackers or bread. and best of all, it does not constipate me, as nuts actually have fiber in them too.

They are high in good fats and also protein.

When I have needed to gain weight in the past, I have eaten cashew butter and peanut butter, globs and delicious globs of it straigth off the spoon. I also have eatedn macadamia nuts by the handful. Those are very high in fat, as are pumpkin seeds.

Sounds like you need to become the hunter gatherer, veggies and nuts and seeds.

I'm avoiding nuts because i'm worried about them "scraping" on the way out...but yes, i eat peanut butter almost every day now...oh, man, i looooooove that stuff. i'll look for cashew butter / nut butter too. they sound divine.

Quinoa is something I'm just finding out about. I will be making some of my baby's food out of it. After doing the research, I think I'll be including it into my own diet. I'm going to start a thread right now with more info, but it's probably a food you should look into. VERY complete source of protein!

quinoa is a YES YES YES food under macrobiotics.
i love making it and mixing it with my whole grains and/or beans and just having it as a side.
definitely, add it on!!!!
