Hey Steve,
It's great to hear that you are 99% healed. Isn't it amazing?
I'm not around the forum much anymore, but I did want to check in to see how you and others were doing, and I'm really happy to see that you are doing well.
I am 5.5 months post LIS and hemmorhoidectomy, and I am doing fine. Sometimes I slip up and eat crap for a few days, and then I get reminded of my butt issues with some blood on the TP, or some minor discomfort, but nothing like what I had before. If I eat well, and drink lots of water, and exercise, then I don't have any issues at all.
Cheers to all. Philber

Hey Phil, It's great to hear from you, unfortunately I've had a setback, I had one to many BM's which resulted in blood on the TP and pain afterwards, I'm unsure if this is just a minor relapse or another tear, I'm blaming my over eating during the festive season combined with the usual stress that Christmas time can bring, tbh I've been eating virtually anything for the past month so that hasn't helped I guess.
I'm glad you're still doing fine, beware of junk food lol, I'm steering well clear from now on.
Take care, Steve

Me neither cheryl, it's been such a cold winter here in the UK, with temperatures down as low as -20 during December, I'm hoping that Summer will be a hot one

Hey Steve,
I have had some blood and minor discomfort from time to time also, but it's always after eating things I should not be eating. The holidays were not good for me, diet-wise, and I paid for that with some blood on the TP and mild discomfort. However, I learned my lesson, and I am going to stick with my high-fluid, high-fibre diet from now on. There is no way I am going to take a chance with developing another fissure.
All the best, Philber
