I now have pain with every bm even if it is the perfect one, been going on for a couple of weeks, how is this so all of a sudden?? i think the fissure has increased in size aswell, has anyone else thought theres has got bigger over time?

Yeah, I think mine is getting bigger. Or at the least, it is so damaged there that even if I heal up for months, it can still come back easily with one semi-bad (seemingly normal- just not really soft) bowel movement.
But, if I am careful, that one thing that works for me is generic Miralax. Twice a day.
But that being said, mine did just reoccur terribly. It could have been my fault- my habits, though- and the weakness of the area- and not the fault of the Miralax.

Sadly the AF can get bigger I think, after-all its a bit of skin with a hole in it. If you pull the skin near a cut the cut will get bigger. Well the same applies to AFs and BMs I guess hence everyones desire for soft n' squidgy!!
