Oh Andy - that's awful. I'm so sorry it hurts so much. Maybe painkillers can help, as Dexterdude suggests? Do you have any valium or something like that to help you sleep?
I really feel for you! I hope the pain subsides very soon. Image

Have nothing to help with my sleep, I will see how it goes over the next couple of day before I approach the doctors for advice / tablets
Fissurectomy was on my paperwork, but when I came around I was told it was Botox only, but have bleeding also today so not really sure what's going on!!!
I am on Tramadol, they do take the edge off the pain, but coughing is so bad and having picked up a cold a week ago I do get fits of coughing, which doubles me in pain!! This is typical as I have not had a cold for years!!

oh no! a cold on top of everything! And of course it really hurts to cough. Poor you! :(
Do you think the surgery irritated the fissure and that's what is bleeding? The whole "cleaning" thing is a bit mysterious if there was no fissurectomy. Image Valium has really helped some people here with the spasms and pain and to help them get better sleep. It is quite addictive, though, but there are other forms of it that do the same thing (Elphie was taking some kind of non-addictive form of a valium-like med). I really think it's worth asking your doctor. You shouldn't have to suffer more than necessary!

Hi Val
Much better today, thank you
Went for a walk earlier today and almost passed out!! I think it was the Tramadol that made me a bit funny
The pain has settled and is so much better, so well on my way to recovery, just hope the Botox is successful as I dont fancy going through this again!!
Will have a checkup in 6 weeks, by then I am hoping for little or no pain, fingers crossed

Take it easy Andy!
Its easy to think you can bounce back to normal, but as I've found today, doing too much too soon, isn't beneficial for recovery.
Glad you're feeling better though - yay, that's great news!
