an IBS question

Postby happyass » 12 Oct 2007, 13:03

for those who have IBS, is it something that you deal with on a daily basis or can there be a variance of someone who has IBS who suffers on a daily basis, or on a frequent but not daily basis or occassionally?
just wondering.
i sometimes feel like on some days i have the symptoms but it's rather spaced out a lot. not every day.

My IBS only flares when I am stressed (which over the past couple years has been a lot. but before that I went about 6 years between episodes.) Even now, it's not every day though.

i was never diagnosed with IBS.. but i was so sure i had it...
the slightest smell of stress and my bowels used to give me hell..
some days were fine, others were terrible...
i always thought i had IBS before i found out i had my fissure, but im still in the believe that IBS caused my fissure...
i hope you guys dont think im crazy..
i still get weird bowels now if i stress out... but i just make sure i keep on my good foods, try to be stress-free.. unfortunately i still have troubles at that time of month though, that still gives my BM's problems..
gee when i really think about it ive been saying im healed after one year after LIS but, i guess in a couple of cirumstances, im still walking on eggshells...
