Hey Sav,
Sorry about your damaged skin!
I had a small patch of precancerous skin last summer and was able to make it go away by putting aloe vera gel on it twice a day for a couple weeks. I can still see the faint scar of where it was. Perhaps it was coincidence, I don't know.
Anyways, good luck getting that dealt with. I am sure it will be fine. My cousin went through that too and has not had a problem since.
Sweet, are you allowed to take one of your xanax tonight to help you sleep?
I envy you and your getting closure on this! Yeah!

Hi sweet...
Just wanted to post a note of support for you ... One more day! Hooray! You're almost there. We are all here for you, sending you all the best healing and calming thoughts, and can't wait to hear about how you feel like dancing very soon!
Sav...
What a beautiful snowy scene you paint for my imagination... Out where I am it has been so hot and dry... The days are beautiful but I'd love some rain... I too have a passion for photography, art, and also for writing poetry, but haven't done any of it in months. I am so happy to hear you are taking some photos... It inspires me so much to hear that...
Hugs and love to everyone this Sunday...

Hi, j -
Thank you, so much! It's warm and dry here, too. We need rain.
I'm a bit edgy about everything -- I've had various little concerns come up - I've been a bit worried that I might have a UTI, on top of everything else - I don't know . . . because with the AF, everything is just sort of sore. I'm probably okay - but ya know, I just want to feel better everywhere.
I really feel like just donating myself to medical science, because I've just about had it with all of this stuff. Last night I called my aunt (who's diabetic and very ill, but she's so supportive) and whined to her. Finally took a Xanax to conk myself out.
Hopefully, all this will be sorted out. I'm hoping to borrow my son's laptop to post updates - but if not, I might ask Dawn (or Sue1962) to post for me.
Hugs back to you, j!

Hey Sweet! Try not to worry. The surgery will go brilliantly Image You're going to be soooo glad you did it.
I'm so sorry you might have a UTI. Man, if it isn't one thing, it's another Image If it makes you feel any better, I developed a UTI when I was recovering from my fistulotomy, and I had to take antibiotics for about a week. It didn't interfere with healing or cause any problems with my butt at all. It was just annoying for a little while. Can you drink cranberry juice? (I'm prone to UTIs and I find cranberry juice, or even cranberry pills, really help).
Don't worry - everything is going to go great and very soon you will be on the other side and on your way to healing and getting your life back. :D

THANK YOU, hopetoheal!
I very much appreciate your support. I'm on the fence about the UTI situation . . . I'm (peri), almost menopause, and I don't know if I'm just irritated down below (which sometimes happens), or, if I have a UTI.
I think I might see if my urologist can check my urine tomorrow . . . and I'm going to call my crs's office to let them know the situation.
So, the possible UTI is my worry right now, weirdly enough.
I'll let you all know what's going on . . .

Sweet,
in the mean time why not drink some cranberry juice?
I can vouch for it as well. It even helps me when I have a mild yeast infection, oddly enough.
Hope this doesn't delay your surgery!

Good idea letting your doc know about it, Sweet. I know what you mean about not being sure. When i was younger, I always knew if I had a UIT, but now that I'm also peri-menopausal, things do get irritated down there all on their own. Oh, the joys of growing older! Image
I'm with Woi - I really hope this doesn't delay your surgery - but if it does, then at least you'll still be good to go when you kick that UIT out of your system.
Let us know how it goes. Meanwhile, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

woi and hth,
I hope it doesn't delay my surgery, either! I just want to go in and be done with it.
I've decided to see if my urologist's nurse can check my urine tomorrow morning. I hope so, and I hope I'm okay for surgery.
Thank you for your support! HUGS
