Hello everyone,
I am 36 years old/M. I had an abscess formed 3 months back and the doctor made an insertion just to let the puss come out. Yesterday I had Fistula surgery and I hope this will end everything. I am still waiting on my first BM. I am not taking any pain medication as I do not have pain(just 1 out of 10). I found some bleeding and pus when I changed the dressing today. I expected some bleeding but I did not expect pus!! I am not sure if this is normal or not.
I am thankful to the guys who created this forum. This forum is really informative.
I wish everyone a speedy recovery and hope to get back to our normal life as soon as possible.

If you are worried about the pus, the best person to speak to is the surgeon who did your surgery. We can help with advice, but your doctor is the one to answer questions like that.
