Lindwe,
Hopefully by the time you read this it will all be over and the final part of your fissure journey will be coming to an end.
It's all uphill from here and that huge glass of red should be coming into sight now.
I hope everything went well and keep us updated with your progress. I am into my second day post-op and feel fantastic at the moment however I am still awaiting that first BM!!!!
Take care and well done

Lindwe,
As Davo mentioned, you should now be on your way to recovery. I am sending good thoughts for a smooth recovery your way. It's now been almost three weeks since my surgery, and I am feeling so much better.
Happy healing!

Thank you all for your good wishes. I'll start a new post later today about what happened & how it's going. Davo's diary is a brilliant idea.

I just continued from my pre-surgery post, "LIS One Day Away." Take care of yourself and you will feel much better quickly.
