AF entering another stage?

Postby Ever the Optimist » 11 Jun 2012, 11:14

Hello,
I seem to be going though a very different cycle with my AF this week....
The actual fissure feels less intense, with little BM pain and a little aching and some odd twinges now and again and reduced pressure generally. I have been passing wind again, which hasn't happened properly for months!! It is also incredibly itchy on and off!....I've been applying aloe vera straight off the plant too, which is incredibly cool & soothing. I've been able to sit for longer periods without bum shuffling quite so much!
Can anyone relate to this? I know itching can be a sign of moisture, but I'm pretty meticulous with my after BM cleaning routine and ensure I am nice and dry. Dare I hope to be healing (a bit) after 6.5 months?? Has anyone else been through this "stage"?
I've used aloe vera before and that didn't cause itching at that time....
I haven't changed my strict eating habits (!)
Thanks for any responses in advance... Image

This sounds a bit like the improvement I had! I hope it is part of healing. Others have said that itching has been a sign of healing. A sign I was getting better was more twinges than horrendous pain - I hope this is a good sign for you! :)
