Just had enough. All the pain .no sleep really has got me down

the saga continues,saw th crs,and during the day i had a shower and whilst drying saw this dark smelly gunk ,
comming out of the lump ,just above the anus,
lucky enough i was only 1 1/2 hours away from seeing the crs,he said it looks like a perianal abscess,he drained some of it and the relief from the pain,
i am going under ga tomorrow to have it all cleaned ,he said he leaves it open to heal from middle out and pack it
hopefully the end of it

Oh dear wouldn't think that is nice at all. Glad you got some relief when drained. Good luck tomorrow lets know how you get on.

Hi guy update time
Had the open yesterday at 7.45pm
Took longer than expected
The had to go quite deep to clean it out and he found a fistular '''ahhh
He has put a Seton in with a view of another op later
Pain not to bad 'very sore 'no bm yet
Just a usual day day for me now hope it an it nothing like the pain I got after botox for the fissure'

So glad your over op hope your getting more relief now. I'm sure you will have some discomfort but hopefully not as bad as you were. Best of luck with that first BM yikes!!

Thanks bailey .just had it .OK though bit of a strange clean up .because I have packing in the wound just above it .and they said don't get it wet .but I am seeing a nurse every day to renew the packing
