My surgery is Monday, what do I need for post op?

Postby Buttbooboo » 03 Nov 2012, 23:35

I'm having a LIS, fissurectomy, and a tag removed on Monday. I've found
This forum very helpful, but I'm still very nervous. Any suggestions on what I need to have on hand for my recovery? Sanitary Pads, wipes, soups, fiber filled foods...what else?

Broth, wetnaps, gauze for packing..Also try to minimize your need for vicodins as this will cause constipation.....if you have dissolving stitches make sure your CRS knows about the baths...Mine didnt want me to take them for a couple weeks....Youll be fine in the end and ever so grateful you did the surgery...Be strong and God bless!!!
