D-day 9th Feb 2013

Well it's only a few hours until D-day !!!
My paperwork says I'm having:
Lateral anal sphincterotomy and excision of anal fissure
Feeling very nervous now and can't get to sleep!
I will keep you all updated with my progress and recovery!
I am booked in for 8am (UK time) tomorrow morning (9th Feb 2013)

Good luck!! Try to relax and think about the fact that you'll be fully numb in that area for a few hours after surgery. You'll get to enjoy a little time completely pain free!!! Keep us updated!!

I can't wait for those few hours of numbness, it will be bliss - haven't had that in 8 months lol
I will definitely keep everyone updated as this site has already helped me a lot over the last few days!

Well I am up and just getting ready to leave the house on an hour or so! :-/ nervous now!
I need the loo too desperately, but nothing is coming out !
