I didn't see a CRS, just a general surgeon. He's a couple towns over so I won't be getting to have a followup.

Took a look this morning for the hell of it and noticed it was quite raised etc. Then realized it's due to dilt bringing in blood.
Decided that once this dilt is gone I'm done with it. Using a bit more then I normally would so it'll be 'discontinued' by this weekend. Probably going to kick the timeframe from 10/12 weeks to either 16 or 20. Happy with progress for sure.
In reality using week counters is a bit pointless as it's not like I have a ton of options. LIS would cause scar tissue so anal sex would be out. I have 0 pain as is and It's got a lot cheaper to manage it with products since I'm ordering em online. If it takes 50 weeks it takes 50 weeks.

Well here we are. 10 weeks complete.
Felt down there today and its barely there. Super stoked with that.
I've decided I'm moving on with my life. It's essentially gone and I'm not going to worry about it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm eating the same way. Using products etc but I'm not doing anything to treat the fissure. Just doing the same thing I'd do without the fissure really.
I'll update this from time to time but the less I post here the better. There is life after this thing. At this moment I've hopped over that really big fence and there is just a string from my shirt stuck on it.

Well done Stratocaster! I knew you could do it! Well done. I am pleased for you. I am doing okay on the Botox. I am having some good days now. I know it will be a long road to heal. I have a follow up in June to see if I have healed. Image you have given me hope I can heal on the Botox!

Well I've made it to week 14. I had 0 issues but in taking a further look I believe I also have some sort of sentinel pile. Just a hard mass right in the area that I had been tearing at. I think the fissure itself had healed but I had this 'friend' left over.
Thus I decided to try and be somewhat sexual. We will leave it at that. Needless to say there was some blood and it's a minor flareup. Had a bit of blood when I went to the washroom but not really in any pain. Pretty sure based on the pattern of the blood on the tissue and the lack of pain it's an the pile itself bleeding as it's going to not really stretch.
That being said the area is tender now so it might be a minor retear. In all honesty it's a good thing as I'm going to talk to the surgeon that did my botox about a referral to a CRS locally so I can take the next step. 4 months of 0 issues and things persist and don't really show any sign of getting better. Might aswell start taking the steps now rather then later. From what I understand seeing someone here will take a very very long time. We shall see!

Good luck Stratocaster, nice to hear from you! Sorry about the re-tear, I have just had one too. Not good, I was doing really well. Good luck in finding a new CRS. Keep us posted. Image

Been quite awhile since I've posted!
I had been given a referral to a CRS however I've not heard anything yet in regards to an apt but doctors here are 6 months behind normally.
That being said I've been under little pain.
*graphic part below*.
Being the goal is to have anal sex again I've been using toys to slowly get used to things. I also have a sentinel pile (scar tissue buildup) so it's helping to stretch that out. I do have some blood but no real pain. Just minor tissue stretching me things.
