Do you think the lactulose or the metamucil causes gas or both of them?? Glad you are feeling better!

That is awesome news! Must be all that blood flow to the perineum that is helping keep you healed.
Yes, you have to do what you must to prevent constipation. I was so constipated during pregnancy and it contributed to my hemorrhoids. I still remember the date that the first one popped out. I think the prenatal vitamins contribute because of the iron and calcium. I might ask about taking regular ones.

Fantastic Cindy, we have been worried about you. Constipation is normal during pregnancy, I could hardly poop during my second one, but then I started drinking coffee with breakfast and things changed. Since then coffee has been the number one thing to keep me regular. I always go in the morning. Do you drink coffee?
Wind and gas you have to live with, it's uncomfortable but necessary :D

Good luck Cindy :paddysmiley1: !!! I really hope that you will have smooth ride through your pregnancy and safe delivery :D !!!! Do you know if it is a boy or a girl Image ??? You must be very excited ! I am sorry that I can not be of any help regarding constipation since I never had that problem during pregnancy or ever  , but I am sure that MUST be a way to make your poop softer ! Does your OB have any suggestions ???
