Butt Blog update: day 22
Having really unusual BMs these past few days.
This morning I've had a formed small Bristol 4. Still blood on the stool but not as much blood on the tissue.
I've not cut down my water intake so this is unusual. I'm going back to the Movicol - had to buy some from Lloyds pharmacy for Ј12.
I'll be back on that from now on and hopefully change my prescription from the GP when I can get an appointment.
My butt's a little sore at the moment -but it's weird how you can get used to the pain and forget about it.
Hope you guys are having a bit more luck than me.
Welsh

Thanks guys. I will definitely be demanding it. Stick with what you know.
Although I've got the plain Movicol now and it tastes like WOOD!!! I used to moan about the lemon Movicol but actually it's easier to down. I find its also easier to down when it's like warm. Cold Movicol makes me gag a little. Oh the wonders of Fissures.
Had a 2nd BM today too. I'm concerned that I'm taking 3 movicols now and it's just making me go more often rather than soften my stools. WTF? Make up your mind body - honestly!
Welsh frustration!

Butt blog update:day 23
2 BMs today. One around 10pm the other around 3pm.
Still on 3 movicol a day after each meal.
1st BM was a little sore when the pressure built up and then was ok. I didn't feel it pass the fissure. Tiny bit of blood when wiping (certainly not as much as the previous 2 days).
2nd BM was perfect, no pain before or during. Bristol 6. Slight pain after, but no blood when wiping.
...ladies and gentlemen, we're back on track!
In your face fissure.

Butt blog update: day 24
2 painless bloodless BMs today! Praise all the lords!
Bristol 6 and Movicol I heart you!
I've just started eating gluten free brown Pitta bread (note: I do not suffer from IBS but I'd like to think their diet tips are just good sense). Im also sick of boiling brown rice (it takes soooo long) so I've just bought some microwave brown rice because I don't feel the 'incredible' flavour will differ much.
Let's keep this up butt! We're onto a good thing!
