Thanks JHH!
You know I started my own research on the topics considering LIS... And I see a lot of ppl don't post anything after approximately week since surgery.
I assume they mostly are healed.

Hey hey
So, I had my surgery back at end of Feb and in the whole it's been positive. I haven't totally healed and I still get reoccurrences. So I went for a second opinion and I'm off for more tests. Basically the new consultant believes that on the first op the surgeons tend to be conservative and don't cut enough, so as a result further surgery is needed. The test this time are going to assess by ultra sound how much muscle was cut and the tension of the muscle. This will give my consultant enough info to provide advice on next steps. So it is likely I will have my LIS redone.
Having said this the first op totally transformed my situation. At one stage I would bleed and 'tear' again at the slightest semi hard stool or bulky stool. Now that only happens now and again. So since Feb I've had 3 reoccuances at about 5 weeks apart. This is progress for me.
I really recommend this procedure.
