can it be healed but still hurt?

Postby hopefulbutt » 14 Aug 2013, 14:44

It seems better definitely. There is less pain and I can pass gas without as much pain now too. I looked at it and it is still red but seems less so? It's still very sensitive to the touch. It's been 2 months since my botox shot. Even bowel movements aren't painful but it still has a stingy pain all day long. I thought the burn was gone too but came back today during a job interviews (stress?). Anyway not sure if I am actually getting better or If the botox is just hiding the worst. Any thoughts? I know it takes time. I just may have a job offer but the first 2 months would be intense and I'm not sure i could handle it. Don't know what to do. :( I'd love some advice. Thanks. Still usin diltiazam and miralax.

Yes, it seems perfectly reasonable that you would be gradually healing. The Botox just relaxes the internal muscle, and it's not a pain killer...... So less pain must equal healing!!! Just remember its such a gradual process, but you have all the right signs!! Keep it going, and good luck with the job!!!

Hey Hopefull,
Glad to hear you are doing well. I do hope you can heal. Now on the job front.. If you get into a routine, you could do it I think? What is the nature of the work? I had to go back to my full time hours whilst still trying to heal and I have to have my routine down to a tea. Getting lots of sleep helps too! I know it is impossible to eliminate all stress from our life, but there are ways to combat it.
Do you have a follow up appointment booked? X:smilyhug:

Thanks. I don't have a follow up booked. Not sure if I should just keep seeing how it progresses in the next few months or go in sooner. Im not sure why I am such a very slow healer. I still have some burn issues while sitting only. Not sure what's that's about. The job is pretty much all sitting so I'm am leery about it.
